Oleksandr Leshchenko appointed head of the UAA Sanctions Disputes Committee

Managing Partner of LESHCHENKO & PARTNERS, PhD in Law, Associate Professor, and Attorney Oleksandr Leshchenko has been appointed Head of the Sanctions Disputes Committee of the Ukrainian Advocates’ Association (UAA).

Oleksandr Leshchenko’s appointment is a recognition of his deep expertise in the field of sanctions law. For many years, the Managing Partner of LESHCHENKO & PARTNERS has been shaping the practice of legal defense in sanctions-related cases, representing the interests of both businesses and individuals in complex, often unprecedented matters. He combines solid theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in disputes involving intersections of public law, national legislation, and national security issues.

In his new role, he will focus on raising awareness within the legal community, strengthening the protection of rights for those affected by opaque or politically motivated decisions, and advocating for legislative reforms aimed at clearly defining the place of sanctions within the legal system.
