On 19 June 2026, the LESHCHENKO & PARTNERS team participated in the first IUS PUBLICUM 2026 Forum on Administrative Law and Justice, held in Odesa. The event brought together attorneys, judges, academics, public officials, and legal practitioners from across Ukraine.

The Forum was organized by the Odesa Regional Bar Council and is intended to become an annual professional platform for discussing key challenges in administrative law and administrative justice, as well as current developments in legal practice.

As part of the second session, “Public Finance: Administrative Law Perspective,” Oleksandr Leshchenko, Managing Partner at LESHCHENKO & PARTNERS, Attorney-at-Law, PhD in Law, delivered a presentation entitled “Practical Aspects of Sanctions Litigation”.

During his presentation, he addressed the specific features of sanctions-related disputes, current trends in judicial practice, and procedural issues arising in cases involving the protection of the rights of individuals subject to sanctions.

Sanctions proceedings remain one of the most dynamic areas of modern administrative justice. The development of consistent judicial practice in this field is essential both for ensuring the effectiveness of state sanctions policy and for upholding the rule of law and procedural safeguards.

Participation in professional events of this level is an important part of the expert and educational activities of LESHCHENKO & PARTNERS and contributes to the exchange of practical experience regarding current legal and regulatory challenges.

“Today, sanctions cases stand at the intersection of national security, human rights, and judicial oversight. For this reason, they require particular attention from the legal community”
